Brian Hogben was inspired to begin Mission35 Mortgages after accomplishing his mission of paying off his mortgage by the age of 35.
This became a goal for Brian when as a kid, he reaped the benefits that paying off his mortgage had provided for his dad. Not having to worry about that expense afforded his dad the freedom to spend more time with Brian and his brother, Craig. Despite a modest income, he wasn’t having to work overtime to make ends meet or spend his time worrying about the next month’s mortgage payment. This allowed him to retire his wife from a job she hated and cheer on his boys from the stands at their hockey games.
After a hard-fought, 3-month battle with acute myeloid leukemia, Brian’s dad passed away at the young age of 67. Mission35 Mortgages was founded both in memory and honour of him. Brian and the team at Mission35 are dedicated to more than just securing your mortgage, they want to help you achieve success – in whatever way you define it. For Brian’s dad, that meant spending more time with his wife and kids. For Brian, that meant having the courage to launch a business. What does that mean for you?
